A bug in Kiri's systems [Mission]

Ark rolled up near Kirigakure in his own Aburame style. By that it means that Ark had created a platform of Aburame Kikaichu under his feet that supported another group of steel kikaichu that were underneath of Ark himself that stood alone piercing the air above the water. Ark rode into the mist like this and upon doing so activated his Camoflauge technique to become completelely invisible as he floated into Kirigakure on top of his kikaichu cloud on the opposite end of the nation that was host to the docks. At which point he set himself down, while invisible, on the top of the Mizukage palace.

It was at this point that Ark raised both of his arms and accepted the kikaichu back into his body that had the backs of steel and began his plan involving the kikaichu of normal variety. The first several seeped into the building that Ark was standing on and manipulated themselves via burrowing and sneaking through cracks much like ants and flies before burrowing themselves into the wood or behind bookshelves in areas that would not commonly be echecked that would not be noticed due to the lack of chakra in them as they stayed in their area and observed the comings and goings of the Mizukage palace. In the Mizukage's own room the kikaichu took special care to burrow under the floorboards and hide under the clothing of the Mizukage herself that would be placed around the room during her absence, the mizukage hat, spare clothing, spare weapons. In total one hundred and twenty three kikaichu found their way into the Mizukage office and of them half were in the office of the Mizukage herself.

A large number of kikaichu flew out from Ark after this in all directions, to the docks, to the shipyard, to the shops, to the ninja academy, and residential areas. These kikaichu would have the same effect and would double in number to the ones that were in place in the Mizukage palace itself. The orders were the same to these insects, act like normal beetles. Beetles and flies that is, as well as stay hidden and posses no chakra. Only to be recalled when someone of the Aburame background summons them to be collected. Upon which the insects will check the contract blood to make sure it matches the type and signature of MG Ark himself. As they fell around and dug into nearby areas and under wooden areas and wherever spiders would have been able to get away with hiding for a while after, of course, killing the spiders that were occupying the areas. The goal was to gather information, witness and listen to everything that happened all throughout Kirigakure. Ark himself would then return later to collect these as he pondered what to do next.

Like usual, Kirigakure was as peaceful as ever. People were out on the streets doing their business, working shops, unloading shipments from the docks, and other busy things. It gave the village life. Most would assume it is a rather quiet, gloomy village because it is so well hidden from the rest of the world, but upon visiting it, minds have easily been changed.

As peaceful as it was, it was short lived. A chakra signature that has never been felt before made it's way into the village from the air. Reports immediately began to spread throughout all of the village, and although the alarms were not set off, many squads of swordsmen, as well as ninja were deployed. Making their way through the village, to the landing area of this signature, the many squads noticed what appeared to be bugs spreading out from the intruders location. To them, first priority was taking those bugs down before before they had gotten too far. Three of the four ninja in each squad made their way to the air, and used all sorts of different techniques of their own to take out most, if not all of the bugs. Surely the intruder would notice, but they would allow him minimum time to react as the 4th member of each squad began to surround him atop the Mizukage's own palace. The Mizukage was not currently within the palace at this time, and many ninja throughout the village rushed all over, looking for where she may have been. All attempts to locate her had failed.

Just as the last of the bugs, at least the airborne ones had been destroyed, the rest of the squads surrounded the palace, on both nearby rooftops, and the ground. 4 members of each squad, presumably the squads leaders had stationed themselves in a square formation, surrounding the center of the rooftop. The intruder had some type of camouflage trick to him, but the bugs which had spread out in the air, making their way out from the center of the roof had given the intruders position away. Each member atop the roof had a sword drawn, all pointed towards the center of the roof.

If it had not been for the Mizukages own knowledge on the Aburame clan from previous battles and encounters throughout her lifetime, none of this would have been possible. The moment waves of bugs had been spotted high in the air, immediate assumptions that this intruder was an aburame, possibly of either Konoha, or Suna had begun to spread.

"Show yourself!"

The ninja at the north side of the roof had yelled, keeping himself fully aware of his surroundings, as did the other 3.

Ark could feel the insects in their vast majority being killed as they fell from the sky, this was to be expected but his primary goal had still been established. As the kikaichu that flew through the air and descended across Kirigakure were 97% destroyed by the NPC ninja defenders of Kirigakure, Ark had dropped his kikaichu directly into the top area of the Mizukage palace and seeped them deep into the building by now hiding them all around inside of the building with no trace of chakra inside of them. Mission was still a success as of now.

Ark would put his hands together and speak aloud. "Release" In order to dismantle the chakra that was surrounding his form. However his ANBU mask and ANBU robes could clearly by seen as special forces ninja he had no real identifying facet of his loyalty. As the Kirigakure ninja squads had him surrounded Ark was not one to start an international incident. As of now it would already go back to Konoha's Hokage, Lady Cicera, that he had been spotted in Kirigakure; however if he was able to make it out with the mission still complete he would still be paid and Konoha's military power would become even more powerful than it already was at the cost of a little face on the national level for Cicera.

Ark's ANBU mask stared expressionlessly east toward the setting sun, the sun's rays at the moment were hiding the markings on his ANBU mask that resembled a cat at the moment but were subject to be changed after every mission to keep his anonymity during actual out-of-state encounters with ninja or even civilians, civilians of Konoha included. As Ark stood there, perfectly straight, his hands at his sides and unmoving staring off seemingly without doing anything deep inside MG Ark he was smiling. You see, as MG Ark seemed to release his camoflauge technique his insects in reality had come forth from his chest and through his clothing to make an insect clone instantly using his chakra and the robes that they would appear to resemble using the basic transformation jutsu learned by all ninja at academy level. Where some kikaichu would transform into the robes or the mask these were the ones to transform first to keep the illusion of a slowly fading away camoflauge technique as it normally would be seen as.

The insect clone stood staring off to the east while the real MG Ark stepped quickly and silently with ANBU quickness and stealth to the right of his position and back a step so that all ninja would have an absolutely clear view of the 360 degree and completely three dimmensional clone made completely of Kikaichu that had come from Ark's body. He was using a bit too many bugs for him to feel totally comfortable with the situation but if it got him out of here correctly and if it was dissolved before the ninja actually got away he would be able to even keep Konoha out of this whole scandal and make it away.

So while the Kikaichu clone stood there staring off with his hands slowly raising into the air in a sign of surrender to the ninja around Ark himself slipped silently toward the largest break in the ninja that had come to stop him on the roof of the Mizukage palace. At which point he slid down and landed on the streets below using his ninja sandals to break his fall silently rolling off of the sole of his foot and then onto his toes and then barrel rolling out into a completely upstanding person completely invisible to anyone that would be onlooking without sensory type ninjutsu or some other way to detect or sense chakra or an unknown presence. All the while Ark waited until he heard the ninja speak again or approach his clone made of Kikaichu to dissolve it and recollect the mass that would go flying off as he snuck onto a vessel of some kind bound for Konoha, all of this running through Ark's mind as the perfect get-away plan as he made his way silently and quickly to the docks of Kirigakure.

The moment the masked man had dispersed into a crowd of insect, immediate panic began to spread throughout the ninja that had been surrounding the Mizukages palace. They scattered immediately in search for the cloaked one, but it was as if he had suddenly disappeared. Few reports of his location have been reported throughout different locations of the village, but the path he took seemed to head straight for the docks. If that were so, he has quite a way to go before reaching it, as the docks were not actually apart of the village.

The ninja had decided to let him go, that is until he reached the mist filled mountain paths. The main location most visitors to the island of Kirigakure get lost at. Because the masked one made his entrance from the opposite side of the island, he would surely get lost within the mist filled paths which are towered by giant mountains to each of the sides. Even with his bugs, he may find it difficult to escape the island without anymore encounters. Scouts were immediately made aware of the situation, and groups of ambush squads and tactical units were deployed immediately. All taking short cuts known by only those who have lived on the island for quite some time. The docks had immediately been made aware of the situation as well. The sailors, visitors, and workers were all taken inside until this encounter had passed.

Scouting birds had immediately filled the air, squads of archers had filled, and armed themselves in many watchtowers throughout the valley, and ambush squads cloaked themselves in nearby objects and scenery. Large walls made of stone had also immediately been constructed by earth users in attempt to close off any paths that exit the valley.

For such a small encounter, it provoked such a response. Immediate lock down throughout the island, all in attempt to capture the one fleeing. Whether or not he had obtained critical information from atop the Mizukage palace or not, he must be brought in for questioning.

As Ark's invisible body ran toward the docks of Kirigakure he encountered viewing Kirigkaure ninja flying overhead all over the sky line. They didn't notice him due to being invisible and silent in the way that he was running along the ground and avoiding all confrontation with people but...it was only a matter of time before he was caught up in a trap or seen/detected by a sensory type ninja from Kirigakure. There was no way a nation that was seen as a military power in the world would ever be lacking such a crucial war asset as sensory-type ninja. It worried Ark that he hadn't been approached yet. While they wouldn't be able to track him step by step they would be able to find his area and after that all it took was for the higher-ups of the mist to evacuate an area that Ark was headed to for him to be completely screwed over in a fire trap of firey death and explosive hell.

This next plan would take a lot of chakra and would be one of his final abilities in this escape but at this point he really didn't have another option. There was no expense that Kirigakure wasn't sparing so far to catch him and either bring him in or kill him, Ark was unsure as of which. So as the kikaichu that Ark had used to confuse and escape from being surrounded by the mist ninja from before that had surrounded him and as the insecrts had finished and were completely hidden within the Mizukage palace now, Ark created another insect clone using the same insects, this one was going to be captured and it would cost him so many insects in this plan he wouldn't be able to make another insect clone for the duration of this mission or really until he picked up more Kikaichu from the Aburame home breeding ground where billions of them lived above and under the ground and was defended by such defensive measures no one could ever get in without the power of a true god.

As Ark created his clone he put enough chakra into the clone body to use Camoflauge Concealment as the two entered the mist mountains. MG Ark's second stage of the plan was now set into place as he stayed behind as his clone continued running forward on the way to the docks. Dodging around and making zig-zag patterns and staying as concealed as possible inside of the mountainous region. Avoiding the ninja and using insects that made up it's insides to survey the area for enemy ninja un-noticed as it ran to the docks.

Ark himself faded back and instantly ran to the side that was away from Kirigakure as a national entity and into the misty outer reaches of the land. Moving slowly rather than sprinting this time as his Kikaichu body could be felt penetrating deep into the reaches of the mountains of the toward the docks before running into problems and ninja. Ark though was fine for the time being having successfully escaped Kirigakure as a village and was not on the outskirt region. He was fairly upset by having to change his escape plan but if he made it out despite all that went down here in Kirigakure he would be happy enough. The mission was all that was his concern. The mission needed to be completed, ran through Ark's mind as he released his steel kikaichu from his legs and most of his remaining kikaichu to carry them in the same platform up into the mist itself where it would be completely hidden from natural view. Ark would flee under cover of thick mist and staying in the thickest mist heading out toward the sea. It would take him a significantly longer time to get around Kirigakure this way and back to Konoha. Another full day of travel was entirely probable from this but his chances of getting away looked pretty damn good.

Deep within the mountainous regions of Kirigakure, the many planned ambushes and attacks on the man had begun. Or at least what they had thought was the man. Although it was none other than a Kikaichu clone, it seemed as if the peons of Kiri couldn't tell the difference. Which was fine of course, as it possibly saved their lives. Had this guy gotten deadly the moment he was confronted atop the Mizukages palace, they may not have been so lucky.

In another location, the real one soared through the air, through a thick mist. While the clone was set up as a distraction, he would take a different way to ensure his getaway is successful. Little did he know the thick mist he was soaring through was a certain someones Mizutora technique. The moment the mist was obstructed by his chakra, his exact location was sent back to the techniques creator. That creator being the Mizukage, Revy Izumi. She knew of Kirigakure's situation, with the Konoha member leaving his bugs everywhere, but it didn't quite worry her unless he had actually killed someone, or posed as a serious enough threat to the village. The report she has recieved, but hasn't replied to states he simply flew in, dropped some bugs, then flew out. Revy would simply head back to the village and be sure to exterminate them. Landing atop the Mizukages Palace, it's quite obvious his mission is most likely some kind of reconnaissance, thus he was instructed to hide himself, and leave his bugs as spies to obtain information, most likely by the Hokage. The Mizukage Palace is the largest of the buildings, in the center of the villige, thus it would be a perfect place to land, and deploy a swarm of insects to hide throughout the surrounding village, and possibly scatter them elsewhere too.

This all of course was just her hunch. She has dealt with Aburame before, and knows how well someone who can utilize the bugs full potential carry out these types of things. Within the cave on the side of a large mountain, Revy had a small fire going. Within the cave she was lying down on a blanket, reading the new latest issue of Takashi's 'Konoichi Fashion'. A magazine that was published somewhere off in a different country, and was quite popular throughout different villages. Kirigakure rarely obtained shipments of these magazines, so obtaining one was no easy feat for Revy. Her main purpose for being in the cave was because of this magazine actually. While cooped up in the village all the time, she rarely has time to concentrate on her own enjoyments without being interrupted to take part in a meeting, or asked a billion questions about anything and everything. Even though today was the day she had off from her work, it just seemed as if many were lost without her presence in the village.

Lying on the blanket within the warm cave, just by the small fire, she had her face deep in the magazine. Although it was like nothing could interrupt her concentration, the sudden obstruct from within the mist caused her focus to slide off the pages. Her head turned towards the entrance of the cave, which was no more than about 20 - 30 feet away. She carried a dull look on her face as she approached the caves entrance. Although she couldn't see the figure clearly, she was capable of easily following it's movement path with her eyes. If it hadn't been for her Mizutora technique, which was only in effect at this moment just to be immediately notified if someone had come looking for her to drag her back to the village. She kept her eyes locked on to the figures location, and began to walk with it. It was slightly higher up in the air than she was, but a elevated path on the side of the mountain she was on lead in the same direction of his movements. With her sword in one hand, which was still wrapped in a white bandaging, and the magazine in the other, she began to follow the figure, simply out of curiosity.

As Ark sailed along the misty Kirigakure mountains peacefully and in absolute silence he heard the treading of another. Nothing careless just not taken special precaution not to be heard, Ark was just lucky to pick up on it on account of having spent most of his young ninja life when learning about how to manipulate Kikaichu trying to listen and prepare to stop people from treading on his insects as he manipulated them. Such a common occurance as it were that insects were the lesser beings and thus if one was in the way it died to that human of which it was in the way of. In any case such things trained Ark's ear specifically for footsteps at a young age...however there was no haste in the light stepping of the kunoichi. As her ninja sandals would collide with the ground making no excess noise and keeping pace with his sneaking speed a top the cloud of steel Kikaichu it was not malicious.

In any case Ark could feel his clone under fire and about to be defeated and exploded by the Kirigakure ninja. The ninja of Kirigakure were sparing no expense to stop or kill him and thus Ark decided that it would be best if he got the hell out of dodge so to speak. While the intention of this sneaking presence to the side of him was not known it didn't seem violent. Ark did not have time for meaningless encounters as he was needed to complete his mission. He was confident even with the most sskilled ninja searching through he would at least have a good 30 to 70 insects still spread about Kirigakure and out of them they would pick something up. Albeit most of them would be in the same place, The Mizukage Palace, due to it's high traffic of ninja and intelligence, he would be able to do quite well there.

Ark thought to himself on how to deal with the situation that he was being followed and how this was possible. The first, was that he had been stalked by someone but that was impossible due to his traveling through the mist in which someone would have to be ON HIS ASS to see the insect cloud he was traveling on. The second was that a sensory type ninja had caught onto his position and was tracking him at mid to close range to alert the KIrigakure military but if that was the case...they wouldn't still be attacking the clone. Finally he had assumed that he ran into a Nuke-nin or some kind of hermit type that had set up a barrier of sensory-esque chakra control inside of the mist and he had fallen for such a trap but was not being trapped for whatever reason.

The thought was not settling well in Ark's stomach so he dropped a few Kikaichu to explore in that direction which would arrive in seconds at Revy's feet and surround them to gather as much intel as possible maintaing a chakra link to MG Ark to instantly transfer the data. As this was going on Ark ascended higher into the air and to a distance that would place him unreachable to the average grasp of mid range techniques and increased his speed exponentially. His insects would tell him what he was being stalked by as he got the hell out of there. One more ninja-style gained piece of information for his report to the Hokage and his mission would be ever so more complete as Ark dropped the control of his Insect Clone and the Kikaichu instantly spread in all directions where the Kirigakure ninja had been attacking it, in the ambush zone. The Kikaichu spread and while some would inevitably be caught and or killed the vast majority of the swarm would find it's way back to ARk as he sped up and ascended on his return to Konohagakure and mission complete status of another A rank.
